Nice is ramping up its luxury hotel offering, with the recent addition of the five-star Maison Albar – Le Victoria representing a major milestone for the Côte d’Azur hub.
The newcomer, located on Avenue de Suède, is the 10th French property for Centaurus Group-owned Maison Albar Hotels and its 17th worldwide.
Managing Director and Co-Founder of Centaurus Group and Maison Albar Hotels Céline Falco described the project as a “major achievement” for the hotel firm.
“Le Victoria is something we dreamed of, imagined, designed, and shaped,” she said. “It is the group’s most significant investment, our most ambitious project. We are delighted to open its doors and offer our guests the Maison Albar Hotels experience at its very best.”

With 102 guestrooms and 30 suites, the hotel offers views of both the sea and the city. It also features restaurant Taulissa and an infinity pool on the rooftop, with a high-end spa also part of its offering. At the base of the hotel, which is part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts network, is a luxe shopping gallery which is home to a number of premium brands.
“Nice, a city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has incredible potential,” President and Co-Founder of Centaurus Group and Maison Albar Hotels Jean-Bernard Falco said.
“Maison Albar Hotels – Le Victoria offers tourists from around the world a warmly luxurious experience, ideally located in the heart of the city and facing the sea. Like all our properties, it is also a gathering and celebration place for locals, who can enjoy our restaurants and spa.”
This year will see the Nice increase its room count to 3,000 more rooms than in 2020, with 60% of them either four- or five-starred. Other recent openings include Anantara Plaza, Hôtel Palais Ségurane and Hôtel du Couvent.
